  2. Choose engine/language/platform and complexity.
  3. Click Generate Prompt.
  4. Optionally click Enhance (AI) to add more implementation details.
  5. Copy Prompt and paste into your coding assistant.

  • unavailable: device/OS/disk/hardware doesn’t meet requirements, or the API isn’t exposed.
  • downloadable: model download is needed; click Load Browser AI.
  • downloading: wait for the download to finish.
  • available: AI buttons should work.
Quick checklist (Chrome)
  • Desktop only (Gemini Nano is not available on mobile).
  • macOS 13+ / Windows 10+ / Linux (desktop).
  • At least 22 GB free on the Chrome profile disk.
  • Either GPU > 4 GB VRAM, or 16 GB RAM + 4 CPU cores.
  • Enable flags: chrome://flags/#optimization-guide-on-device-model and chrome://flags/#prompt-api-for-gemini-nano, then relaunch.
